1 How to pay
We accept Visa, Mastercard , Maestro, Switch, Delta and Solo cards.

All payments must be made on-line via our secure checkout system. We are unable to accept telephone, fax or email orders.

3 Delivery and handling
The delivery charge is stated on the Products page. For delivery outside of mainland UK please ask us for a quote.

Once payment has been received we will endeavour to despatch your goods within 24 hrs.

We try to meet estimated delivery times but cannot guarantee them as we use third party couriers. We cannot be liable for consequential loss caused by delivery delays.

4 Credit card security
Our checkout facility uses 128-bit encryption.

All prices quoted on our site include VAT at the UK rate of 17.5%.

6 Privacy
We collect information from you for two reasons only: 1) To process your order 2) To provide you with the best service. This information includes your name, address, telephone number, email address, and account details.

We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully.

We will not pass on information about you to third parties unless you have given your consent.

The information we hold about you is held securely. The information is accurate to the best of our ability, is based solely on the information we receive from you and is as up-to-date as we can make it. If you wish us to remove it then just send us an email and we will do so. We invite you to check what information we hold by writing to us. In this case we will need proof of your ID. Unfortunately we must also ask for a cheque for GBP 10 to cover administration costs. In this way we can correct the information promptly.

We hate spam as much as you. Subsequent to satisfactory delivery we won’t contact you unless you request it, nor will we ask you to buy anything again.

8 Returns
Please do not return any goods before contacting us at sales@bikebins.com

When you receive your goods it is important that you inspect them before signing for the delivery. If you think the goods are damaged or if the delivery box looks suspiciously damaged, then you should refuse delivery. In this event do not sign for the goods but contact us immediately (within 3 working days maximum). This will allow us to resolve the position with our courier. If you sign for the goods and subsequently find they are damaged it makes it harder for us to deal with the complaint. Otherwise replacement goods will be sent to you as soon as possible.

Until you are satisfied with the goods please keep the original packaging. Couriers will not accept the goods if they are not in the original packaging.

If any goods are returned owing to an error on our part we will refund your postage charge.

If any goods are returned unwanted or incorrectly ordered by you, provided that the goods are returned in a perfect saleable condition and within seven days we will either exchange or refund subject to a 20% restocking fee. No carriage refunds can be given however.

If any goods are returned which you feel are faulty or irreparable then they must be returned for inspection by us together with your proof of purchase. If it is found to be a genuine fault of manufacture (not accidental damage, misuse, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, something which can be adjusted, or a part which can be changed) and if the fault occurs within a reasonable time after purchase, we will make a full refund. We will also reimburse for standard postage costs, but excluding postage costs outside mainland UK.

If any goods are returned as faulty, but which cannot reasonably be regarded as a fault of the manufacturer, we will contact you to inform you of this. In such case you will be liable for all postage costs.
